Sledgehammer

Kortrijk, Belgium's Sledgehammer (not to be confused with the '80s New Wave of British Heavy Metal band by the same name) was hatched in 2004 by transplanted American vocalist Dwid Hellion, formerly of Cleveland hardcore crew Integrity and techno project Psywarfare. Joining forces with an all-star cast of native players, namely guitarist Birger Finaut (of Death Before Disco), guitarist Matt Halsberghe and bassist Hans Verbeke (both members of Liar), and drummer Tim Jult (typically the singer with Congress), led to the creation of Sledgehammer's ad hoc metalcore debut EP, Your Arsonist, released in early 2005.
