Biography
[Edit]Avant-garde hip-hop producer and Los Angeles native Henry Laufer goes by the alias Shlohmo. He started making music at the age of 14, and by 17 he was making cinematic beats in the same spirit as Flying Lotus, J-Roc, and Ras G. In 2008, during his senior year of high school, he co-founded Wedidit Collective, an Internet label/community of L.A. artists (featuring Elan, RL Grime, Groundislava, D33J, Jonwayne, Melonious Drunk, Juj, Zeroh, Dr. Blount, and NonEpic). Following the three EPs Shlo-Fi, Camping, and Places, and the mini-album Shlomoshun Deluxe, Laufer released his first full-length, 2011's Bad Vibes on Friends of Friends.
