Ann Arbor, Michigan's Pity Sex pull from the fuzzy distorted sound of '90s alternative rock. With a sound that mimics classic rock acts like Dinosaur Jr. and Yo La Tengo and contemporaries like Japandroids and PAWS, the group — guitarist/vocalist Britty Drake, guitarist/vocalist Brennan Greaves, drummer Sean St. Charles, and bassist Brendan Pierce — released their first EP, Dark World, in 2012, and made plans to follow it up with their first full-length, Feast of Love, in 2013 on Run for Cover Records.
