Biography
[Edit]A master of the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute, G.S. Sachdev has remained tied to the musical traditions of northern India. A friend of Swami Vishnu-Devanada, the founder of International Sivananda Yoga Vedenta Centers, Sachdev mostly performs in the spiritual organizations' ashrams and centers. According to George Harrison, "we are fortunate to have such a fine musician in our presence." Sachdev has lived in San Rafael, CA, since the 1980s.
