Biography
[Edit]Boston, Massachusetts hardcore group Defeater originally formed in 2004, and after some lineup changes eventually landed on vocalist Derek Archambault, guitarists Jay Maas and Jake Woodruff, bassist Mike Poulin, and drummer Joe Longobardi in 2008. Releasing their debut album, Travels, that year on Topshelf Recordings, label head Seth Decoteau shopped the promo to Bridge Nine Records and scored a deal for the band there, where they released 2011's Empty Days & Sleepless Nights and 2013's Letters Home.
