Biography
[Edit]Brooklyn four-piece CHAPPO make driving, psychedelic, and post-punk-influenced indie rock. Centered around Baton Rouge native lead singer/songwriter and guitarist Alex Chappo and Seattle-born keyboardist Chris Olson, the band also includes drummer Zac Colwell and guitarist Dave Feddock. Formed in Manhattan in 2007, CHAPPO released the EP Plastique Universe in 2010, followed by the Plastique Universe II: Pisces Princess EP a year later. In 2012, CHAPPO released their full-length debut album, Moonwater, on Majordomo Records. CHAPPO returned in 2014 with their sophomore full-length effort, the concept album Future Former Self.
