Biography
[Edit]Introduced on the Christian hip-hop scene under the name Conviction, rapper Chad Jones dropped the moniker and relaunched his music career after a move to Memphis, Tennessee. Adopted and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jones grew up in a home filled with 11 kids. Hip-hop was introduced while in high school, with Christian hip-hop introduced after adulthood and redemption. After releasing the album Soul Food in 2009 and making a handful of guest appearances, both under the name Conviction, Jones moved to Memphis and joined the Fellowship Memphis. In 2014 he issued the Keep Up EP, his first release as Chad Jones.
