[Edit]Zac Brown has been called both a jam-band artist and one of country music's most bankable stars (nearly every song here was a Top 10 hit on the country charts), but his music transcends these labels. Written with primary collaborator Wyatt Durrette, these songs explore styles ranging from '70s soft rock to classic folk. "Highway 20 Ride" sounds like lost John Denver, and "The Wind" is zippy bluegrass. The Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers, and, of course, Jimmy Buffet (who cameos on "Knee Deep") are all key influences. Presented chronologically, this collection emphasizes the depth and breadth of Brown's talents.
