[Edit]A two-disc set with 25 total tracks (which contrasts with the two 25-track discs found in the complementary collections Silly Songs Sing Along and Nursery Rhymes Sing Along), Bedtime Songs for Baby is as soft and gentle as one would expect a set of keyboard-driven lullabies to be. The first disc has vocals ("Hush Now, My Baby," "Winkum Winkum"), sung by groups of sweet-voiced children, while the second if purely instrumentals — keys, strings, guitars and the like. The various chime sounds can get a bit corny at times, but Bedtime Songs for Baby maintains its appropriately soothing tone throughout, and therefore accomplishes what it sets out to do.
