Sonny Rollins isn't necessarily suited for this approach, but the collection works well, providing a reasonable introduction for curious listeners. The collection contains seven tracks that give an idea of Rollins' range, including "Three Little Words," "Alfie's Theme," "We Kiss in a Shadow," "Everything Happens to Me" and "Blessing in Disguise." Collectors will have little use for this collection, but it's a good sampler for neophytes.
