Somewhat surprisingly, this record became a major hit in Sweden in the autumn of 2001. Leader Theodor Jensen's connection with Håkan Hellström (Jensen wrote one of the songs on his debut album) must surely have helped him some. The pace on this record is often manic, the vocals desperate, as on their big hit "Mon Amour" and "Slow Fall." The melodies are generally rather weird and quirky, but sometimes really catchy, affecting, and truly great, like "Mon Amour." Its desperate cries of "m***e!" (yes, the French swear-word) are easily one of the albums highlights. It's hard to avoid hearing the passion in the manic vocal deliveries, and it's hard to not believe every word that's sung. It is a good record indeed, but still not quite matching the quality of colleague Håkan Hellström on his debut.
