Gambling Man is a re-release of the debut album by British-Irish doo wop band the Overtones, which was first released as Good Ol' Fashioned Love in 2010. Actually, it is the second re-release of said record, which in its first incarnation had 12 tracks and was then reissued as an 18-track "platinum edition" in 2011. The new, retitled version features two additional bonus tracks but otherwise replicates the "platinum" version with its retro '50s/early-'60s music, a mix of R&B, doo wop, and pop that includes covers of Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time," Rihanna's "Only Girl (In the World)," and Adele's "Rolling in the Deep," along with a few original compositions, such as the single "Gambling Man."
