The Impalas' highly collectible 1960 Cub LP Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home) contains the vocal group's two hits: the smash title track and the minor hit "Oh, What a Fool." Lead singer Joe Frazier frequently wanders out of key, but the lightweight material is fun and doesn't invite serious criticism. "Sorry (I Ran All the Way Home)" is by far the group's most substantial pairing of song and performance and can be heard on oldies anthologies such as Eric Records' Hard to Find 45s on CD, Vol. 1. Fans who simply can't get enough of the Impalas will probably be cured of their condition with the acquisition of this disc.
