This brief Heptones album was originally released in 1986, and featured the second edition of the group (Earl Morgan, Naggo Morris, Barry Llewellyn), spotlighting the trademark smooth harmonies that have always been the strength of the Heptones in both incarnations. A couple of these tracks ("You Don't Know Me," "Someday") are really lovely, but there are a couple of ill advised clunkers ("Three Coins in the Fountain," "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me") as well, making Changing Times a sort of transitional album that seems to be searching for a strong, clear vision.
