[Edit]This truly fine collection of 11 close-quartet gospel songs is from Vee Jay sessions conducted during the late '50s and issued on a Vee Jay LP in the early '60s. This is one of the few worthwhile Vee Jay quartet albums that has never been reissued over the ensuing years. The Richmond group is led here by Thomas Johnson (first tenor) and his son Ellis Johnson (bass).
