Here's 33 cuts by the exciting Jubilee quartet, still performing (after more than 68 years) in a cappella. This contains long-out-of-print Dot (Bullet purchases) and Old Town material from out-of-print Nashboro and Athens album collections, plus two by Joe Henderson, the group's basso in 1960. It's close harmony '50s singing at its best with the legendary Sam McCrary "hard tenor" lead and the unbeatable Isaac "Dickie" Freeman occasional bass lead. This is one of today's best traditional quartets. It has very good sound quality (cassette only). ~ Opal Louis Nations, Roots and Rhythm Newsletter, Rovi
