[Edit]The "Original" Carter Family were one of the most influential acts ever in country music and this disc contains some of their best-known material. Fortunately, RCA thought enough of this material not to tamper with it as they did with so much of the older material in their vaults (i.e. phony stereo). This is good stuff; unadorned and just the way it was meant to be heard.
