[Edit]Also known as Mouse on tha Track, Swagga Fresh Freddie is arguably the most compelling act in the Baton Rouge–based Trill Entertainment collective (best known for breakout star Lil Boosie). On All Options Open, the producer/rapper hooks up with Box (as well as guests like Levelbaby, Bigjaypyrex, and Ronnymy) for a 19-track project that showcases relentlessly catchy beats with rhymes that are more focused on having fun than bragging about crack sales and street credibility. The rhymes here are more charismatic, concise, and compelling than the usual trap-boy fare, primarily revolving around partying, girls, and cash. With a style reminiscent of classic Mannie Fresh jams, the verses here aren't afraid to get a little goofy (especially on the Kris Kross–influenced "Go Nation"), while the production is loaded with meandering synth squiggles, deep bass bumps, and hard-knocking snares. Don't miss "Bizznezz Is Bizznezz," "Living Single," and the supremely funky "Head to the Sky."
