[Edit]This was the best introduction to Tavares until well over a dozen other anthologies — some better, most not — arrived in a seemingly endless succession throughout the '90s and early 2000s. This vinyl release consisting of nine songs sticks to the basics, including "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel" (Billboard number one club play), "More Than a Woman" (number 32 pop), "She's Gone" (number one black singles), "It Only Takes a Minute" (number one black singles), and "Check It Out" (number five black singles). This should not be confused with a similarly titled compilation in Capitol's Capitol Gold series, released on CD in the mid-'90s.
