Details
[Edit]Often called the “General of R&B,” Tank has been working for years after getting his big break as a touring backup singer for Ginuwine. His first album, Force of Nature, dropped in 2001 and was an immediate hit thanks to the successful single "Maybe I Deserve." Since then, he's released several more albums—One Man, Sex, Love & Pain, and Now or Never—and has lent his songwriting and production skills to a wide array of likeminded artists, including Marques Houston, Monica, and Omarion. On This Is How I Feel, he collaborates with superstars like T.I. (the lead single "Compliments"), Chris Brown ("Lonely"), and Busta Rhymes ("Nowhere"), but he holds down most of the album on his own, flaunting the strong vocals and bedroom-centric lyricism that have made him a mainstay in contemporary R&B. While his formula has remained the same throughout his decade-plus career, his fans aren't complaining. They'll be sure to love this too, especially "Next Breath," "Off Your Hands," and "Your One."
