[Edit]Susie Hansen's debut as a leader finds the violinist leading her Latin jazz/salsa band through a set of mostly group originals. In addition to Hansen's appealing violin, the main voices are trombonist David Stout, Pedro Eustache on tenor and flute, and vocalists Cheo Negron and Mike Jimenez. Spirited music that often straddles the boundary between jazz and Latin dance music.
