Arguably Halpern's most artistically accomplished album, Higher Ground mixes his trademark sounds of the past with some new directions, particularly a more skillful use of synthesizers. For those interested in Halpern's latest therapeutic developments, there's an added benefit: the composer has included what he calls "binaural beat phrasing" to the music, which he says "sonically entrains your brain to an immediate 8-cycles per second response" that locks you "into phase with the natural harmonics of the Earth."
