The year of the lockdown 2020 is an interesting time to break as a rap star, to say the least. But for 19-year-old StaySolidRocky, it wouldn’t have happened as quickly as it did if not for the MC's earliest fans dutifully observing stay-at-home measures. Downtempo banger “Party Girl” was originally released in 2019, but didn’t really take off until homemade dance videos set to the song invaded the TikTok app during the earliest days of the the COVID-19 pandemic.
