Long cursed with the tag of "Most Intelligent Jungle Act," Spring Heel Jack appeared to react with their fourth album, Busy Curious Thirsty. The tracks aren't exactly ragga-fied drum'n'bass, but they definitely sound more influenced by the sound of the street than the hum of the computer. Fortunately, Coxon and Wales didn't completely desert their by-then trademarked lush synth-work and ordered, complex breakbeats; the result is an album with the best of both worlds in drum'n'bass.
