[Edit]

Nearly two decades after his debut appearance, hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to craft hit records and expanding his empire to include movies, television, commercials, youth football, etc. He recently added yet another title to his list of endeavors, being appointed to the position of "Creative Chairman" at pioneering music-industry mainstay Priority Records. His first order of business? Digging through the vaults to assemble a compilation of older hits from the label. Snoop himself only appears on five tracks (not counting an intro and interlude), while the rest of the selections come from a wide range of artists, including N.W.A. (their classic ode to Olde English malt liquor, "8 Ball"), EPMD ("So Wat Cha Sayin'"), and Ice Cube ("The N***a Ya Love to Hate"). No Limit artists are well represented as well, with Master P, Mystikal, Silkk the Shocker, and Mia X all doing their thing, while Golden State compatriots Mack 10, Bad Azz, and Westside Connection contribute as well. Also worth checking; an Eazy-E remix featuring Naughty By Nature, and Snoop's previously unreleased "Pay Ya Dues."
