Greatest Hits: Good Times, Bad Times compiles the highlights from Cali Chicano rapper/producer Sir Dyno's first three albums — Interview With a Chicano (1996), Chicano Chronicles (1999), and What Have I Become? (2000) — as well as a couple stray soundtrack contributions. With a grand total of 20 tracks, there's plenty of variety here, some tracks leaning toward rabble-rousing hardcore rap (presumably the good times) while others toward sullen gangsta balladry (the bad times). Dyno's albums feature a lot of worthwhile moments not compiled here, but Good Times, Bad Times indeed rounds up the best of the best and is thus the best place within his discography for newcomers to begin.
