With the same playful charm and energy of a hyperactive eight-year-old, Sicko just want to have fun with their first album You Can Feel the Love in This Room. Without a care in the world, each track is a cheerful rant of simple pop-punk that shows no signs of anger, angst. or bad days. Instead, Sicko would rather poke fun at their surrounding environment and relive their childhood highlights rather than dwelling on personal tragedy. "On the Clock," for example, jokes about working a dead end job at a donut shop, while "Attention Span" finds humor in Attention Deficit Disorder. Topping off this near-perfect album is their cover of the Indigo Girls' "Closer to Fine," which proves that just because a band plays obnoxiously happy pop-punk doesn't mean they're closed off from all other genres of music.
