With their third full-length Chef Boy R U Dum, Sicko remains in that adolescent frame of mind, even though by the time this was released, they were all in their mid-twenties. Not that there's anything wrong with that. As a matter of fact, kids of all ages can relate to the ramblings of Denny and Ean Sicko as he sings about his love for computers ("Computer Geek"), being unemployed ("On the Dole"), and people who make a big deal out of little things ("I Hate Big Deal People"). However, the clincher of this record is the painfully honest "The Dateless Losers," which deals with the lifelong bachelors who sit around, watch TV, and joke about how pathetic their love lives are; it's a pretty hysterical song that can hit way too close to home if one doesn't find the humor in it. All in all, though, a great pop record, as long as one doesn't take the perpetually silly lyrical content too seriously.
