Many of these songs appealed to both pop and jazz audiences, achieving crossover popularity: "Wade in the Water," "Soul Sister," "Waltz for Debby," and "Song Without Words (Remembering)." To be definitive, this disc would have to add his Cadet and Argo hits "In-Crowd," "Hang On Sloopy," and "1, 2, 3," which it doesn't.
