[Edit]"The Amazing Spellcaster" is like a nightmarish Brad Swanson record, as Quintron lays on thick organ distortion and adds zany instruments and sounds wherever possible. At once pseudo-futuristic and actually futuristic, this record employs cheap outer-space and animal noises with a musical style that may indeed be what the kids are listening to in one-hundred years. The organ–far and away the key element to this album— is furious and a lot of fun, reaching its greatest peaks when things get the most out of control. The overall feel of "The Amazing Spellcaster" is schizophrenic, but enjoyably so.
