[Edit]Mexican outfit OV7 moved to the U.S. to make this album, working in New York and Miami along with producers Loris Ceroni and Chris Rodríguez. 7 Latidos starts with a techno-pop song called "Tengo el Control," followed by a romantic ballad titled "Te Necesito," bringing forward a well-balanced pop album. The album features the hit single "Love Colada," composed by Andy Marvel, Amy Powers, and Marjorie Maye; the seductive pop/rock "Go Baby," an up-tempo version of Human League's "Fascination"; the Latin rock-oriented "Tan Solo"; and the contemporary electric funk of "Baien Todas las Armas." To make it even more exciting, 7 Latidos ends with a disco-inspired song called "OV7 Ation."
