[Edit]Nora York has a dreamy and at times almost otherworldly voice full of atmosphere. On this set she performs seven intriguing originals and fresh renditions of such standards as "Out of This World," the Beatles' "If I Fell" and "Nobody Else But Me." York, who is assisted by keyboardist Rob Schwimmer, pianist Richie Beirach on keyboards, tenorman Rich Perry, violinist Mark Feldman, guitarist Jack Wilkins, bassist Michael Formanek and drummer Terry Clarke on various selections, holds her own with her better-known sidemen, and the results are a rather haunting disc.
