[Edit]Mexican troubadour Nicho Hinojosa brings back memories while singing a selection of reflective songs from the 1970s and 1980s. En el Bar opens with the classic "Santa Lucia," followed by Franco DeVita's breakthrough hit, "Te Amo," a seductive bolero composed by Armando Manzanero called "Contigo Aprendi," and the nostalgic "Y Cómo Es Él," the first smash by Spaniard José Luis Perales. The Latin singer/guitarist pays tribute to Joan Manuel Serrat with "Cantares" and "Aquellas Pequeñas Cosas," and then he cleverly moves into nueva trova with Silvio Rodríguez's "Ojalá" and Pablo Milanés' "El Breve Espacio." Fito Paez's "Mariposa Tecknicolor" marks the contemporary side of this simple but highly emotive acoustic record.
