[Edit]In that it consists of 15 compositions by the father of mini-jazz, Nemours Jean-Baptiste, this is something of a memorial. In one respect, in fact, it goes one better than the original. His sound combined mambo-influenced horns with accordion held over from older sounds. The accordionist on this collection plays an updated style which swings subtle and strong, while remaining true to its source.
