[Edit]German schlager singer Michelle celebrates her 40th birthday with the release of her 13th studio album, L'Amour. The record was mostly written and produced by "rock schlager" veteran Matthias Reim (who used to be in a relationship with Michelle and is the father of her 11-year-old daughter Marie-Luise), with Amadeus Crotti and Luis Rodriguez serving as co-producers, and songwriter Jörgen Elofsson contributing the ballad "Was, Wenn Mein Herz Sich Irrt." Other songs on the album include a remake of her 2002 single "Das Hotel in St. Germain" and a "sequel" called "Abschied von St. Germain" as well as the uptempo number "Große Liebe," which serves as L'Amour's first single.
