[Edit]The world's greatest ethnic percussionists come together on Terra Nova. Four years after their successful 1995 tour, Megadrums founder Richard Flatischler brought together again Airto Moreira, Glen Velez, Leonard Eto, and Zakir Hussain. While more concert events happened at this time, those not able to attend can also experience the Megadrums magic through the studio recording made during the reunion. These complex and transcultural rhythm experiences also feature other elements such as vocals, flute, and didgeridoo. Stephen Kent performs on didgeridoo. This is the first time that instrument was incorporated into Megadrums' sound. Exciting and diverse, Megadrums is a peerless survey of the world's varied drum sounds executed through the masters in the field.
