[Edit]This is a tight band that mixes Merengue Lite with occasional mellowed-out cumbia to really very attractive effect, in a vein similar to but less frenetic than even the heart-throbs among the Dominicans. Under the affable surface there's a lot of real music going on — nifty arrangements, solid piano from the leader, and a general ability to make it all sound easy.
