[Edit]After winning a GRAMMY® for his work on OutKast's "The Whole World," Killer Mike dropped his debut album Monster in 2003, easily going Gold on the strength of singles "Akshon (Yeah!)" and "A.D.I.D.A.S." After a short stint on Big Boi's Purple Ribbon imprint, he started his own indie label Grind Time Official, and has been busy ever since, dropping impressive mixtapes and street albums like The Killer and I Pledge Allegiance To The Grind I & II. On PL3DGE, he continues to bring strong lyrics that perfectly balance rowdy and rambunctious with the intelligent and thought-provoking. The production is a lot more diverse and original than your typical Dirty South joint, a constantly changing mix of layered instrumentation, stellar samples, and hard-knocking beats. “Ric Flair," "Burn," "Players Lullaby," and "Follow Your Dreams" are album highlights. Guests include Young Jeezy on "Go Out On the Town" and T.I. on the No I.D.-produced "Ready Set Go."
