Fabulously well played country and bluegrass that ranges far and wide, taking in traditional reels as well as very contemporary songs sung by Smith's wife, Amanda. Smith doesn't push supporting players into the background, however; there are showcases for banjo, fiddle and mandolin all over this record. Smith wears his religion on his sleeve, by the way, which should appeal to God-fearing folks looking for some excellent picking.
