Singjay Junior Kelly burst on the Jamaican dancehall scene in 2000 with the impossibly catchy "Love So Nice," and his deliberately roots-conscious approach made him a breath of fresh air in a genre too often full of nasty infighting and risqué, juvenile posturing. This 20-track set isn't exactly a "greatest-hits" collection, though (it lacks, for instance, "Love So Nice"), and Penitentiary's earlier Best of Junior Kelly release from 2005 makes for a much better introduction to this interesting artist. That said, there are some strong sides here, including the horn-driven "Come One Day," the lovely "I Need to Know," and the nyahbinghi-tinged "Corner Man."
