Details
[Edit]Somewhat of a forgotten figure, Joseph Cotton was nonetheless right there at the height of late-'70s/early-'80s Jamaican reggae, recording alongside Errol Brown, King Jammy, Scientist, King Tubby, and Bunny Tom Tom at such hallowed studios as Treasure Isle, King Tubby's, and Channel One. Moll-Selekta, a Hamburg, Germany-based reissue label, compiled many of his shining moments on Dancehall Days 1976-1984. It's an excellent collection — assembled with plenty of tender loving care, serving well as an all-you-need, one-disc anthology of this forgotten figure, and the wonderful movement in which he participated.
