[Edit]An early '80s quintet work that juggles free, contemporary classical, and mainstream jazz elements. Pianist Kuhn plays with more rhythmic energy than on his solo works, and is less concerned with texture and mood. The band includes trombonist George Lewis, cellist Ottomar Borwitzky (who adds a distinctly different sound), plus percussionists Herbert Forsch and Mark Nauseef, who doubles on piccolo and tenor sax.
