Collecting James Brown's '80s hits that didn't make it onto Star Time, Greatest Hits of the Fourth Decade shows that the period was not among his most creatively fertile, even with the monster hit "Living in America." Still, the disc does pick the best tracks from a dry spell, making it a nice supplement to the box set.
