Inkuyo's fourth release combines traditional Andean music with original Incan-influenced material. Inkuyo is an American-based trio consisting of American multi-instrumentalist Pamela Darington on strings, flute, and percussion, Bolivian composer Gonzalo Vargas on wind instruments and drums, and Daniel Zamalloa from Peru on strings and bass guitar. Together they dedicate themselves to creating spirited Andean music, both ancient and contemporary featuring traditional flutes, whistles, pipes, percussion, and strings. The album's two vocal tracks are sung in Quechua, the language of the Incas which is still spoken in some remote areas of the Andes.
