Details
[Edit]Reissued as Montenegro & Mayhem, Bongos & Brass is fairly good, for arranged "jazz" intended for the stereophile. "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" could be considered a crime piece, and "Heat Wave" stands out just slightly above an even pack. That's Johnny Pacheco on bongos, apparently earning a little rent money jsut before taking over New York as king of pachanga and eventual Fania All-Star.
