Details
[Edit]This release by flutist Herbie Mann for his Kokopelli label is a disappointment. With a few exceptions (a remake of "Comin' Home Baby" and the bossa nova "Sir Charles Duke"), most of the Brazilian-based originals are rather forgettable and the interpretations by Mann and his five-piece rhythm section often border on easy-listening music. The musicianship is high but the creative level is only so-so.
