The gifted Connick imbues his original compositions with a sparkling pop sheen, making them instantly accessible to jazz novices but boasting enough funk to keep New Orleans natives happy. Highlights include the upbeat title track, the duet "S'possed to Be" featuring the sweet, soulful vocals of Tara Alexander, and the swampy prison blues "Angola (At the Farm)," featuring guitar work by Sonny Landreth.
