The First Waltz is both a live album and the soundtrack to a concert film directed by Justin Kreutzmann. It features one brand-new studio track: “Come from the Heart,” with Rosanne Cash. Three additional songs make their official HWA release: “Play a Train Song,” “Mission Accomplished,” and “Guaranteed.” The film chronicles the making of the debut album and the group's first-ever live performance in Boulder, Colo. This album demonstrates the band’s incendiary live power and ability to stretch out and jam. Comprised of Todd Snider, Dave Schools, Neal Casal, Chad Staehly, Duane Trucks and Jesse Aycock, Hard Working Americans are built for the road and stage.
