[Edit]Did I say that Disappear Here is better than the band's first LP? Talk about being wrong! Let's pretend I never said such a thing, OK, because 1995's Open Up and Croon is completely and totally phenomenal. It's even thicker, louder, more roaring, and heavier than the U.S.-released Disappear Here, with even better songs. Singer/guitarist William Arthur is such a major talent, and has such a great band, that it makes me pissed off I never heard of him or them until 1997. "Open Up and Croon" and "Something" are just the sort of riveting sound and writing that's missing these days.
