[Edit]This heartfelt Tito Rodriguez tribute represents a milestone in Gilberto Santa Rosa's career. An avid fan, Santa Rosa re-creates, with the help of musical directors Louis García and Angel "Cucco" Peña, many of Rodriguez's most famous hits; a simulated duo with Santa Rosa and Rodriguez (who never met each other) in Puchi Balseiro's "En la Soledad" makes the homage even more poignant. "Hoy Te Canto" (by Peña and Tato Rossi) rounds up the package beautifully. Arturo Sandoval, Papo Lucca, and Jesus Caunedo perform solos; the recording also features Juancito Torres, Eddie W.
